Miyu is oftenly very (-)shy, having her life decided for her most of the time she never got many chances to express her wishes and that makes her be quiet and (-)afraid of rejection, not saying what she wants and leaving decisions for others turning her into a (-)pushover. However whenever she feels comfortable enough or feels that she won’t be rejected, she becomes more talk active.
When it comes to things she likes Miyu is very (+)passionate, even getting to a point of idolizing sometimes- this is kept a secret at all costs though, only those very close to her get to see the extent of this side of her. No matter what she has to do she’s always very (+)hardworking, being used to aim for perfection she has no problems going overboard with how much she works on something as long as it’s perfect.
While her shyness usually makes her the quiet type if she sees someone hurt or upset she will try to help with whatever she can do, having a (+)benevolent and gentle attitude towards others. The hurt factory on others especially triggers something in her and she will (-)panic and overthink the situation, letting her mind wander into the most drastic results even when it’s literally impossible. Tl;Dr
Born into a family of athletes, Miyu has been taught to love dancing since a very tender age by her mother who was once a prima ballerina. She has a natural talent for dancing and it brought joy to her to do so and seeing others happy by that as well, but what she loved most of all was to spend time with her energetic older brother. Growing up together with such a close bond they did everything together with her brother always taking the lead on some big and fun ideas of adventures and pretend battles!
In summer time they would spend their time in their grandparents' house in the countryside and while it was still all fun and games for the siblings, it was then that Miyu began to figure herself as an individual with the help of her grandmother who taught her about spiritual beliefs. After some years, Miyu started to realize that the path she was taking was different from her brother's who she always walked with hand in hand in life. She was training harder to become the ballerina her mother wanted her to be while her brother followed his own path and beliefs. They were still extremely close but the difference in paths made her be filled with doubt.
After someone close to her pointed it out, Miyu realized that she was following a path set for her instead of making her own decisions. This made her realize her lack of assertiveness towards others. She didn't regret that lifestyle as everyone was always happy when she did what they asked, but she also wants to decide on her own and let herself be happy on her own terms. Using this new found will to change, Miyu decided which highschool she would attend- Seiyo Academy. After some time, coming back to her dorm with herself injured made the desire to change become bigger, leading her to use her tarot cards and do a reading for herself. The cards were clear and answered to her plead for guidance in a positive matter filling her with more determination. The next day, the teen woke up to see a gray egg with wings on it. She was surprised at first but being drawn to the egg she kept it and decided to take care of it as it was warm and seemed to have something inside… maybe this was what the cards foretold.
